In study skills, we are trying to complete all missing assignments before the grading period ends. I provide the students with lists of assignments regularly, and help as needed.
In English we continue to Journal daily, complete grammar lessons and vocabulary. Each of these activies will help the students as they progress through their high school career. It will also help them when they do the ACT or MI Access in 11th grade. We will begin a new unit in writing yet this semester, and complete To Kill a Mockingbird.
In US History we will finish Ch. 19, The Boom Years of the 1920s, right after the holiday. Then we will study the causes of World War II. Our exam will only contain information up to the 1920s. Everything else will be on the exam for second semester.
