I have seven students in my Study Hall.  If your child is one of them, they need to show up with work to do and their agenda.  I expect them to work for at least 38 minutes each class period.

In English, we are reading To Kill a Mockingbird,  as well as reviewing grammar and increasing our knowledge of selected vocabulary.  This will help the students later on when they take standardized tests.

In U.S. History, we are quickly reviewing the period of time between the Civil War and 1900 to give us a good background to begin studying the 20th Century.  Our focus will be on fairness and unfairness throughout history.  I will also be trying to connect those concepts to current events that are related to historical events.
